As you see the word BETA is gone!
What does that mean for the site. Well with the end of the beta testing, will come the end of the beta contest, the contest that has been running from the start of the site. That is however a few days off, so we are giving you a last few days to vote on the beta contest. All images in the beta contest will automatically role over into the new contest, however All votes will be rest, Putting everyone in equal ground. With the contest end we will generate a results page, for the beta contest. For now though, we are off to Anime Boston this weekend. Hope to see some of you there!
Welcome to Hottest Cosplay
We are in the middle of a redesign and some adjustments that we have gotten from suggestions and from our own observations of the site. While it is safe to say that we here at Hottest Cosplay will never see our work as finished, we do feel we are nearing the point where we can safely take the beta off of our title and go live.
Changes that we have made so far:- Draws no longer count against win and lose statistics, Draws are counted but do not hinder both parties bringing long term pictures close to 50/50 due to a high draw count.
- Skewing and the size restraints have been adjusted, uploaded pictures will no longer be forced to the fixed 3X4 dimensions, instead a max width and height has been set and there resized to that maintaining there own dimensions.
More changes are on the way, we also appreciate your feedback and suggestion’s so please leave suggestions for us, if you provide an e-mail address we will get back to you on your feedback but please give us a few days as we have jobs other than just this site unfortunately.
We also hope to see any and all of our visitors whom will be attending this years Anime Boston May 22nd to 24th 2009. I will be celebrating my birthday there this year! So feel free to come on in and stop by, I will be with Majikcraft most of the weekend at her booth or with her at her panels. We would love to see your cosplay! I will put info on how to find us to say hi as I have it.
